Just wanted to remind all how to calculate your cap when you have players on your IR. It works the same as it does in Thrones so if you're familiar with it there you know how it works. However, it DOES NOT work the same as it does in Gangland. In Gangland your contract total at the top of your roster, (which I have to manually control given the structure of the league), has your temporary year of cap relief built in and therefore that number can never go over 125. In WDF and Thrones, however, this is not the case where the cap is calculated by the software automatically.
The software has no option for the automatic reduction of cap years by -1 for each player on your IR. Therefore, to make sure you are not going over the cap you should take your cap number at the bottom of your roster and subtract how many players you have on your IR get an accurate calculation of your used cap years. The resulting number can never be more than 125 Years. For example, if you have 3 players on IR, you may at least temporarily, have 128 cap years showing on your team's roster. 128-3=125. If you have 4 on IR you can go to 129; 5 you can go to 130 and so on. Another way to phrase it is to say that you can go over the 125 year cap limit at maximum the number of players on your IR.
If anyone has any questions regarding the above explanation please ask.
Thanks!
