Welcome to the World Dynasty Federation!
Rather than rambling on, I'm going highlight numerically.
1. Big thanks to Jacob (Team Superfly) for taking this idea and building us one great looking FF site!
2. The site is not finished, there is more to be done. But if anyone is unhappy or have a different suggestion for your team name or mat logo on your team page, please contact Team Superfly to see if he can do whatever you'd prefer.
3. Everyone needs to register on this forum and set up email notifications. This is a requirement in this league even though in others it's optional. The people I invited into this league all have one thing in common: you're active, invested owners and with that we should have a lot of activity, but that still requires that you are informed and important posts shouldn't go unnoticed. Proboards gives you a lot of control as to what email notifications you'll receive, so set it up any way you like, but make sure you at least set the email drop down to "Instant" for "New Thread" and "New Post" for all "World Dynasty Federation Business". To do this you go "Profile>Edit Profile>Notifications Tab and using the drop down menu under the email column. You can set it up differently for each board if you scroll to the bottom. 4. Everyone also needs to setup there contact and wireless information on the league site. Cell Phone number AND Email. Make sure you validate your cell number to at least receive a text "When I'm on the Clock." All other options are optional. Personally, I like to get trade proposal texts during a draft and then turn them off afterwards, but that is up to you. Everyone in here should feel comfortable receiving texts and emails from one another.
5. The draft is scheduled to begin March 21st at 10:00 am EST. Per the rules, the draft order will be done using the KDS system. This weekend I will generate a draft slot selection order using fftoolbox's random generator and you will receive an automated email detailing this order. Again, this is the selection order NOT the draft order. Then teams will post there draft slot on the appropriate forum thread one at a time. Trading will open shortly after I enter the draft order into the system.
6. If you are in one of our sister leagues, the rules and scoring might look similar, and it is, however, there are also a few important differences. Everyone should be familiar with the rules and use that as your first source to answer any questions you may have. If you can't find it there, please feel free to contact me.
7. This league is going to be competitive, a lot of us are seasoned owners, but flaming, disparaging insults, etc. won't be tolerated. Don't make it personal. In addition, everyone is expected to respond to trade offers/messages in a reasonable amount of time, but I don't think this is going to be a problem with this group.
