R.1 Trading
a) Trades may occur at any time EXCEPT from trade deadline until February 21st and no trading PDs during the RFAA and UFAA periods.
b) All trades will be considered complete at the date of acceptance by the parties.
c) Trades will not be accepted that cause any team to have an invalid roster.
d) Trades made after the lineup deadline can only play starting with the next week.
Owners absolutely must respond to trade offers in an appropriate and timely manner (defined as within 3 days, but preferably sooner). Ignoring offers will not be tolerated and warnings and/or penalties may be accessed.
Promises and/or comments involving future actions by one or both parties included in trades will not be enforceable and the promise to do something in the future cannot be traded. Trades involving compensation based on future performance (ie. I will give you a 2nd round pick if Jared Cook finishes top 10 at his position, but only a 3rd round pick if he doesn't) will not be allowed.
R.2 Trading Future Draft Picks
Trades involving future draft picks require a down-payment towards your entry fee into future years. How much is owed depends on what pick you trade and/or how many.
a) If you trade a pick or any combination of picks in rounds 1-2, a $100 non-refundable payment, or the balance owed to be 50% paid for the following season, must be made to the Commissioner within 48 hours of the trade.
b) If you trade 4 or more total draft picks from the following year, a $200 non-refundable payment, or the balance owed to be paid in full for the following season, must be made to the Commissioner within 48 hours of the trade.
c) If you trade ANY draft pick from the draft 2 years into the future, a $400 non-refundable payment, or the balance owed to be paid in full for the next two seasons, must be made to the Commissioner within 48 hours of the trade.
If the payment is not received within the 48 hour period, a 25 PD penalty will be accessed to the team or teams that owe the down payment and trade will be reversed. If the reversal would effect the score of a game, any players involved in the trade would receive zero point for that week even if the nonpayment is no fault of their own and trade would then be reversed. BOTH teams are responsible for making sure payment is made. See section B for Paypal information.
R.3 Unfair Trades
This is supposed to be fun. Owners can run their team as they see fit. No trade will be vetoed unless collusion or tanking is questioned. If a team in the league has an issue with a trade, please email the Commissioner privately. It will be up to the discretion of the Commissioner to start a poll to veto a trade, in which 75% approval from the league is required to veto a trade.
