I just wanted to let people know that I'll be running a playoff league here on MFL.

It will be a 12 team league with a live draft that is on Friday January 4th at 830 CST. The draft date is set in stone. If you can't make the draft, then please don't join. It's too hard to coordinate a date/time that works for everyone, so this is when it will be. Join only if you can be online at that time.
Draft will be on MFL with a 90 second timer.
Look at the rules on the league page, but here is the lowdown:
12 teams
1 TMQB, 2 RB, 4 WR/TE, 1 TMPK, 1 Coach
No bench. No trades. No FA moves. Draft 9...play your entire roster throughout the playoffs.
Big play scoring. More points for longer TD's/FG's. No PPR.
Coach: 5 points per win
LINES:
Each team will pick winners both straight up and against the spread. This will happen on the MB. Will use the USA Today for lines. I'll post on the lines on the MB.
5 pts straight up
5 pts against the spread
3 bonus points for getting them both correct
DRAFT ORDER and HANDICAP:
Snake Draft
Kentucky Derby Style for draft pick order. Will use random number generator, then we will go in that order to chose your draft slot on the MB.
Draft slots 1-6 are handicapped. Choose wisely. So the teams that picking in those slots, will have the follow handicap:
1.01: -12 pts
1.02: -10 pts
1.03: -8 pts
1.04: -6 pts
1.05: -4 pts
1.06: -2 pts
I've been doing a live in-person playoff league with the same scoring system for 15 years. It works well and its fun. Plus it's totally different from the rest.
Cost will be $50.

I may not recognize your email address, so please tell me your name when you email me. No notes in Paypal. I'll know who you are after you email me. Send to friends to avoid fees.
Payouts are as follows:
$600 total
1st- $400
2nd- $150
3rd- $50
We'll make this a yearly thing, so those that are in the league will get right of first refusal for the following year.
