6th and 7th Round rookie can be demoted to your taxi squad prior to giving them a contract by May 19th 11:59 pm EST. If you fail to do so you lose this privilege and these players will be treated like all other rookies.
Rookies drafted in rounds 1-5 can only be demoted once all unsigned players have been given contracts.
