Make sure you understand Section O.1 of the Constitution before placing a bid. Invalid bids will NOT count. All bids must state the amount of your bid and the draft pick compensation that will accompany it.

Auction on this player ends on 4/21/18 at 10am EST if no opening bid is placed before that time OR after 24 hours passes without the high bid changing hands after an opening bid is placed.

Teams that placed the tag on this player have the right to match any bid by simply replying "MATCH", you do not need to raise the bidder higher, only match the high bid to be the current high bidder.

Match - although this does not make any sense b/c we already paid $25 PD for Cole's tag. So, our match does not result in us paying any additional compensation. Should the bid not start at $26? I know this is a little pedantic, but the way this is currently set up is illogical.

It's actually not illogical at all, The Rock just failed to follow the directions as stated in the constitution. The starting bid is the bid of the tagging team, in this case Steamboat. It therefore follows that the next bid needs to be higher than $25. This isn't complicated folks, let's not make it be.
