I certainly can, but remember you can't move any rookie to the TS (6th and 7th round excluded) before you've completed all your contracts.

That doesn't change the rule. Section L.2(d) states that you must declare ALL of your contract prior to demoting rookies to your TS (other than 6th and 7th round picks). Your attempting to skirt the rule lol. The intention of the rule is clear. All rookies and/or free agents must be assigned contracts within the 125 year cap, except for 6th and 7th round rookies. In your scenario, everyone could just assign all their contracts right after the rookie draft and demote them all to TS; then pickup more players during the summer. Definite no-go.

Sorry, wasn't trying to shuck and jive, just thought that's how it was.
Don't think it's an issue as all my other pickups are 1 year
So if I post now, and have my contracts assigned, I can't demote until after waivers tonight and I assign those contracts as well?

Correct, cannot demote until the August 15th pretty much. I'll make the rules more clear though and I'll make a post as well.
